ART 167 - Graphic Design I (3) Prerequisite: None fall, spring
Studio: Six studio hours a week.
An introduction to the fundamentals of graphic design. Topics include research, image manipulation, vector graphics, logo development, typography, and layout design for print and screen. Students will use the formal elements of design including composition, color, texture, pattern, point, line, and shape and apply them using graphic tools into effective graphic design communications.
