Lecture: 2 hours of lecture/discussion per week. Lab: 3 hours of lab per week.

This course provides in-depth instruction and hands-on experience in the diagnosis, disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of both manual and automatic transmissions used in modern vehicles. Students will learn the operational principles, component functions, and service procedures required to restore transmissions to manufacturer specifications.
