DPT 274 - Vehicle Air Conditioning (3)

Lecture: 2 hours of lecture/discussion per week. Lab: 2 hours of lab per week.

This course covers the basic theory and operation of air conditioning systems and refrigeration units used in agricultural, trucking and industrial vehicles and equipment. Students will learn to recover and recharge refrigerants as well as diagnose performance issues on a variety of conventional, hybrid and electric on and off highway vehicles and equipment.
