DPT 199 - Small Engine Maintenance and Repair (3)

Prerequisite: None

Lecture: 2 hours of lecture/discussion per week. Lab: 2 hours of lab per week.

Introduction to the theory, operation, maintenance, and repair of all common two- and four-cycle engines. Students learn engine overhaul procedures and the use of overhaul equipment and tools, hydrostatic transmission, transaxle, differential and battery powered equipment repair.
