Lecture: 1 hour of lecture/discussion per week. Lab: 2 hours of lab per week.

A study of tools and shop equipment commonly used by diesel technicians in the repair industry. Over 35 tools and pieces of equipment will be covered including: hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, lifting equipment, engine rebuilding tools, and hybrid/electric vehicle safety equipment. Emphasis will be placed on safe usage to minimize personal injury and physical damage.
